One area of emphasis in our department is in systems biology. This includes
- Integrative Biomedical & Data Science (iBioDS) training in computational approaches used to advance biomedical research for interested graduate students
- Center for Translational Pediatric Research which provides assistance to junior faculty investigating how diseases develop from a systems biology and mechanistic perspective
- IDeA National Resource for Quantitative Proteomics which is a NIGMS supported facility to provide access to advanced quantitative proteomics platforms and staff skilled in interpreting and analyzing complex biological data
- Systems biology research in many of our faculty’s research labs
